Hey guys! A little sparky and a little darkness for you today!
I started (duh! Of course!) by waking up my under eye area with The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG. I also was hoping my lashes would keep growing, and to keep that hope alive, I ran some Smack Beauty Bat Those Lashes Volumizing Lash Serum along my upper lash line.
I fought the dreaded oil slick look by patting on some NYX Professional Makeup Shine Killer. I also hydrated my lips with Murad Rapid Collagen Infusion for Lips, since I’d be adding a matte lipstick later, and they can both be drying and look like total crap on dry lips.
Because I’m me, I had some redness today. I applied some LA Girl Cosmetics Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Green Corrector only to those areas that were red, and blended it out with a dampened Beauty Blender. Then, to even out my skin tone, I used a Japonesque Multitasker Brush to apply some Mally Beauty Ultimate Performance Professional Foundation in Light.
To create (and fake) some definition in my face, I used a Younique Cream Shadow Brush to apply some Jouer Cosmetics Perfector in Chestnut around the edges of my face, under my jawline, under my cheekbones and down the sides of the bridge of my nose. I then used a dampened Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge to blend until my arm ached.
Taking some Palladio Under Eyes Disguise Full Coverage Concealer in Vanilla Latte, I cream highlighted the center of my forehead, down the bridge of my nose, and under my eyes. This time I used a Morphe G37 Brush to blend it out.
Using my finger, I added some color to my cheeks with Tata Harper Volumizing Lip and Cheek Tint in Very Charming. I also added a bit of glow (because you know I love it!) to my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose with NYX Professional Makeup Strobe of Genius Holographic Stick in Mermaid Armor.
To set those cream highlighted areas, I grabbed a Vera Mona Cake and Bake Makeup Sponge, and packed on some RCMA No-Color Powder. After waiting a few minutes, I used a Morphe M500 Brush to sweep away the excess.
On the areas I cream contoured, I used both a Morphe G18 Brush and a Morphe M530 Brush to deepen it even more with Palladio Matte Bronzer in Teeny Bikini.
To add a bit more cheek color, I grabbed a Real Techniques Multi Task Brush, and used it to swirl some Cargo Cosmetics Water Resistant Blush in Los Cabos onto my cheeks. I also decided I didn’t have quite enough glow (you know me,what can I say?), so I used my fingertips to add some Unicorn Snot Glitter Gel in Pink to my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose.
To fill in and shape my brows today, I used an LA Girl Cosmetics 207 Brush and some Inglot AMC Brow Liner Gel in 20. I then sealed that in by combing through some Model in a Bottle Long Lasting Eyebrow Sealer. Then, I cleaned up the edges with a Morphe M508 Brush and some Dermacol Make-Up Cover Foundation in 209.
And now for the eyes. I started them by using a Morphe E22 Brush to create a base in my crease that would be easy to blend on using NYX Professional Makeup Nude Matte Shadow in Leather and Lace. I then took a Real Techniques Brow Brush and ran some Kiko Cosmetics Infinity High Pigmented Eyeshadow in 212 along my lower lash line. I also added some into my crease, before taking that same Morphe E22 Brush from before and blending it out.
Using a Morphe E32 Brush, I patted some NYX Professional Makeup Glitter Glue onto my eyelids. Directly on top of that, I used a Morphe E14 Brush to pat some Inglot AMC Pure Pigment Eye Shadow in 86.
After adding a couple coats of Lancôme min Sieur Big Mascara, I decided to add a little flair with a pair of Kara Eyelashes in 523, using Duo Eyelash Adhesive to attach them.
To complete the look, I swept some Violet Voss Liquid Lipstick in Flirt on my lips and called it a day!
And that’s all, y’all! See you soon!
