Face of the Day Friday

Hey guys! A simple date night inspired look today!

Because you know me, you probably know I never feel like I got enough sleep. So I started out by tapping The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG under my eyes to wake them up. I also want to keep my lashes nice and healthy, so I ran some Smack Beauty Bat Those Lashes Volumizing Lash Serum along my upper lash line.

To prep my face for makeup, I applied NYX Professional Makeup Pore Filler, attempting to start with a nice surface. I also hydrated my lips with Blossom Scented Lip Gloss in Mint.

To hide my under eye circles, I used a Morphe E9 Brush to apply the orange shade from my Ben Nye Media Pro Corrector Wheel trying to cancel out some of the blue. I then grabbed a Japonesque Multitasker Brush and evened out my skin tone down by buffing on Mally Beauty Ultimate Performance Professional Foundation in Light.

To give my face some definition, I cream contoured with LA Girl Cosmetics Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Toast, using a dampened Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge to blend the crap out of it. I then concealed and cream highlighted with Palladio Under Eyes Disguise Full Coverage Concealer in Vanilla Latte, this time again blending it out with another dampened Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge.

For some cheek color, I used my finger to apply a tiny (I’m not kidding… be careful!) bit of Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Creme Colour Concentrate in Grandma. I also added some glow (don’t worry now, more will come later!) to my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose with NYX Professional Makeup Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator in Sunbeam.

To set all that cream product, I used a Vera Mona Cake and Bake Makeup Sponge to pack some RCMA No-Color Powder on to the areas I earlier cream highlighted. After a few minutes, I used a Morphe M500 Brush to sweep away the excess powder. I also went over the areas I cream contoured with both a Morphe R41 Brush and a Japonesque Kumadori Blending Brush, giving it even more depth with the dark shades from the Frankie Rose Cosmetics Pro Contour Palette.

For a little more cheek color, I used a Real Techniques Multi Task Brush to sweep on some Santee Cosmetics Sun Kissed Mineral Formula Blush in 05. Then I (here it comes…) added even more glow with a Sigma E40 Brush and Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder in Illuminati.

I started my brows by applying some Model in a Bottle Long Lasting Eyebrow Sealer to them to get them to stay in place. I then tried (yes you read that right) to fill them in with Maybelline Tattoo Studio Brow Tint Pen I’m Deep Brown. That was just a complete train wreck. I hate it. Maybe it works better if you have more substantial brows, but it just didn’t work for me. At this point, I almost just said screw it and gave up. Instead, I grabbed an LA Girl Cosmetics 207 Brush, and filled in and shaped them with Malibu Glitz Dramatic Brows Eyebrow Gel in shade 3. Then, using a Younique Cream Shadow Brush, I cleaned up the edges with Dermablend Professional Cover Creme in Natural Beige.

And now for the eyes! Using a Morphe E17 Brush, I swept some NYX Professional Makeup Nude Matte Shadow in Get Naked onto the creases of my eyes. After dampening a Morphe E55 Brush with some Mehron Mixing Liquid, I used it to pack some NYX Professional Makeup Pigment in Old Hollywood.

After a couple coats of Palladio Double Agent Faux Lash Effect Mascara, I wanted just a little more. I decided to add some Kara Eyelashes in 415, using Duo Eyelash Adhesive to attach them. I then finished off the look with some Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Ready to Wear Liquid Lipstick in Stalker.

And that’s all, y’all! See you soon!

Face of the Day Friday

Hey guys! A complete look today. Something just less vibrant and colorful.

I started by faking that I slept by applying The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG to my under eye area. I also ran some Smack Beauty Bat Those Lashes Volumizing Lash Serum along my upper lash line, in hopes to keep them healthy and growing.

To prep my face for makeup, I patted on some NYX Professional Makeup Total Control Drop Primer all over. I also hydrated my lips with some Lip Smart Powerful Hydration for Dry Lips.

To even out my skin tone, I used a Sigma 3DHD Kabuki Brush to buff some Frankie Rose Cosmetics Matte Perfection Foundation in Bare all over. To correct my dark circles, I applied LA Girl Cosmetics Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Light Yellow Corrector and blended to crap out of it with a dampened Beauty Blender.

For a little definition in my face, I cream contoured with LA Girl Cosmetics Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Warm Sand, this time blending it out with a dampened Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. I also concealed and cream highlighted with Palladio Under Eyes Disguise Full Coverage Concealer in Vanilla Latte, choosing a Japonesque Fluff Concealer Brush to blend it out.

To start building some cheek color, I put on some Club Clio Peripera Ah! Much Real My Cushion Blusher in Pleased Pink. I also added some glow to my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose with a NYX Professional Makeup Strobe of Genius Holographic Stick in Mermaid Armor.

To set all the cream product, I used a Morphe E41 Brush to sweep some Jouer Cosmetics Mineral Powder in Perle Naturel all over. I also went over the areas I earlier cream contoured with both a Morphe G18 Brush and a Morphe M530 Brush, to give it a little more depth with Sephora Matte Perfection Foundation in Deep Mocha.

To add a little more cheek color, I used a Sigma F15 Brush to sweep on some Physicians Formula Multi-Colored Blush in Blushing Berry. I also added even more glow (cue eye roll) with a Morphe M501 Brush and some Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder in Yasss!

To fill in and shape my brows today, I used a Morphe E38 Brush and some NYX Professional Makeup Eyebrow Cake Powder in Dark Brown. I then cleaned up the edges with a Morphe M508 Brush and Jouer Cosmetics Perfector in Naturel.

And now for the eyes! I used a Morphe M505 Brush to sweep some LA Colors Eyeshadow in Terra-cotta into the crease of my eyes. I then used an e.l.f. Cosmetics Professional Eyeshadow Brush to add some NYX Professional Makeup Glitter Primer to my eyelids. Directly on top of that, I used a Morphe E14 Brush to pack on some W3LL People Elitist Mineral Eyeshadow in 814. I then took a Sigma E30 Brush to add more NYX Professional Makeup Glitter Primer to my lower lash line. I then used a Real Techniques Brow Brush to add some NYX Professional Makeup Pigment in Venetian right on top of that.

After a couple coats of L’Oréal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara, I wanted a little more. Not much, just a tiny bit. So I added a pair of Red Cherry Eyelashes in Harley, using Duo Brush On Adhesive with Vitamins to attach them. I then completed the look by applying Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Ready to Wear Lip Tar in Vintage.

And that’s all, y’all! See you soon!

Face of the Day Friday

Hey guys! A little bit of a more bold look today, with a blue liner and a red lip.

I once again am lacking real sleep, so I woke up my under eye area with The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG. I also want to keep my lashes healthy (what with wearing falsies all the time), so I ran some Smack Beauty Bat Those Lashes Volumizing Lash Serum along my upper lash line.

Because my skin has been a little dry and dull lately, I patted on some Acure Brilliantly Brightening Day Cream. I also hydrated my lips with Smith’s Rosebud Salve Balm.

To even out my complexion, I applied NYX Professional Makeup Total Control Drop Foundation in Vanilla, buffing the crap out of it with a Morphe M439 Brush. To get a little definition in my face, I cream contoured with a Morphe R9 Brush and some Jouer Cosmetics Perfector in Chestnut. I also concealed and cream highlighted with some Santee Cosmetics Just Kolour Invisible Cover Concealer in Vanilla, blending it out with a Real Techniques Deluxe Crease Brush.

For a little cheek color, I applied some Tata Harper Volumizing Lip and Cheek Tint in Very Charming, letting the warmth of my fingers blend it in. I also added some glow to my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose by patting on some Inika Light Reflect Highlighting Creme.

To set all that cream product, I used a Morphe G5 Brush to sweep some Ben Nye Luxury Powder in Buff all over. I also used both a Morphe Y22 Brush and a Morphe E56 Brush to give the areas I earlier cream contoured a little more depth with Palladio Matte Bronzer in Teeny Bikini.

Using an e.l.f. Cosmetics Professional Powder Brush, I added even more cheek color with NYX Professional Makeup Powder Blush in Pinched. And of course, you know I had to add even more glow. I grabbed a Morphe M310 Brush, and used it to sweep all the colors combined from the NYX Professional Makeup Love You So Mochi Highlighting Palette in Arcade Glam on my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose.

To fill in and shape my brows today, I used a LA Girl Cosmetics 207 Brush and some Inglot AMC Brow Liner Gel in 20. I then cleaned up the edges with a Bare Minerals Max Coverage Concealer Brush and a bit of Dermacol Make-Up Cover Foundation in 209.

And now for the eyes! I started by using a Morphe E22 Brush to sweep some NYX Professional Makeup Nude Matte Shadow in Craving into the crease of my eyes. I then used a Morphe E32 Brush to pat some NYX Professional Makeup Glitter Primer on to my eyelids. Directly on top of that, I used a Morphe E14 Brush to pack some LA Colors Cosmetics Shimmering Loose Eyeshadow in Snow White.

Next, I wanted a little pop of color. I added a wing liner with NYX Professional Makeup Studio Liquid Liner in Extreme Blue. I then added a couple coats of Lancôme Mon Sieur Big Mascara.

After deciding that wasn’t quite enough, I added a pair of Red Cherry Eyelashes in 415, attaching them with Duo Eyelash Adhesive.

To complete the look, I swept some NYX Professional Makeup Plush Gel Lipstick in Karma Kiss on my lips.

And that’s all, y’all! See you soon!

Face of the Day Friday

Hey guys! Just a simple look today.

I once again faked some decent sleep by applying The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG. I also am hoping to keep my lashes nice and healthy, so I swept some Smack Beauty Bat Those Lashes Volumizing Lash Serum along my upper lash line.

To prep my face for makeup, I applied some NYX Professional Makeup Angel Veil Skin Perfecting Primer (if you haven’t tried it, this stuff is pretty awesome!) I also hydrated my lips for the matte lipstick I’d be applying later with Grande Lips Hydrating Lip Plumper.

Dealing with a little redness, I spot corrected with LA Girl Cosmetics Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Green Corrector, using a dampened Beauty Blender to blend it in a bit. I then even out my skin tone with The Ordinary Colours Coverage Foundation in 1.2YG, buffing it in like crazy with another dampened Beauty Blender.

To get some definition in my face, I cream highlighted and contoured using a NYX Professional Makeup Wonder Stick Highlight and Contour Stick in Universal. To blend out the contour shade I used a dampened Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, and to blend out the highlight shade, I used a Morphe G37 Brush.

To achieve some flush on my cheeks, I used my fingers to apply Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Creme Colour Concentrate in Grandma (be careful here, this stuff is really concentrated). I also added some glow to my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose with Temptu Silicone Based Highlighter in Champagne Shimmer.

To set all that cream product, I grabbed a Morphe E52 Brush, and used it to dust on some Jouer Cosmetics Mineral Powder in Perle d’Ivoire. I also went over the areas I earlier cream contoured with both a Japonesque Kumadori Blending Brush and a Morphe R41 Brush to give it even more depth with the dark shades from my Frankie Rose Cosmetics Pro Contour Palette.

For a little more cheek color, I grabbed a Sigma F40 Brush and swept some Frankie Rose Cosmetics Blush in Peachy Pink on them. I also added more glow to my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose (duh!), using a Morphe M501 Brush and some Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder in Gold Digger.

To fill in and shape my brows today, I used a Japonesque Angled Brow Brush and By Nanda Long Lasting Coloring Eyebrow in 05. I then cleaned up the edges with a Morphe M508 Brush and some Dermablend Professional Cover Creme in Natural Beige.

And now for the eyes! Starting with a Frankie Rose Cosmetics 725 Brush, I swept some NYX Professional Makeup Hot Singles Eyeshadow in Sex Kitten into the creases of my eyes.

Then, using a Morphe E32 Brush, I added some NYX Professional Makeup Glitter Primer to my eyelids. Directly on top of that, I used a Morphe E14 Brush to pack some e.l.f. Cosmetics Mineral Eyeshadow in Bronzed.

After a couple coats of Lancôme Mon Sieur Big Mascara, I decided I need a little more drama. I added the third pair of lashes from the Violet Voss Eye Believe in Unicorns Lash Set, attaching them with some Duo Brush On Adhesive with Vitamins.

To complete the look, I added some Dose of Colors Liquid Lipstick in Kiss of Fire and called it a day.

And that’s all, y’all! See you soon!

Cosmetics Professional Eyeshadow Brush to apply some NYX Professional Makeup Glitter Primer onto my eyelids. Directly on top of that, I used a Sigma E55 Brush to pack some NYX Professional Makeup Pigment in Metallic Velvet on.

And of course, I had to add a little sparkle. After dampening a Sigma E75 Brush with some Mehron Mixing Liquid, I used it to apply some LA Splash Cosmetics Crystallized Glitter in Thistle to my lower lash line.

After a couple coats of Velvet 59 My Fair Lashes Mascara, I decided I needed a little drama. I applied a pair of the second pair of lashes from the Violet Voss Eye Believe in Unicorns Lash Set, using Duo Eyelash Adhesive to attach them. Then, to complete the look, I swept on some Coloured Raine Liquid Lipstick in Raine Fever.

Face of the Day Friday

Hey guys! Today I brought you just a little color.

Face of the Day Friday

Hey guys! A little pink for you today!

I started by waking up my under eye area (because the lack of sleep is real!) with The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG. I also want my lashes to keep growing so I ran some Smack Beauty Bat Those Lashes Volumizing Lash Serum along my upper lash line.

To prep my face for makeup, I patted on The Ordinary High-Adherence Silicone Primer. I also hydrated my lips with Pure Paw Paw Ointment in Grape.

To even out my complexion, I used a Morphe M439 Brush to buff on some Jouer Cosmetics Luminizing Moisture Tint in Pearl. I then added some definition in my face by cream contouring with LA Girl Cosmetics Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Warm Sand. I then dampened a Beauty Blender and blended it all in like crazy.

Taking a Real Techniques Deluxe Crease Brush, I next cream highlighted and concealed using Jouer Cosmetics Perfector in Ivory. I also added some color to my cheeks with Club Clio Peripera Ah! Much Real My Cushion Blusher in Pleased Pink. And because you know I love glow, I added some NYX Professional Makeup Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator in Sunbeam to my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose.

Using a Morphe E52 Brush, I set all that cream product by sweeping on some Jouer Cosmetics Mineral Powder in Perle d’Ivoire. I also went over the areas I earlier cream contoured with both a Morphe R41 Brush and a Japonesque Kumadori Blending Brush, giving it even more depth with some Sephora Matte Perfection Powder Foundation in Deep Mocha.

I also decided I wanted a little more cheek color. For that I used a Sigma F40 Brush to sweep on some Jouer Cosmetics Powder Blush in Peony. And of course you know I wanted more glow! I took a Morphe M501 Brush and added some Milani Runway Eyes Eyeshadow in Girls Luv Pink to my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose.

To fill in and shape my brows today, I used a Morphe E38 Brush and some NYX Professional Makeup Eyebrow Cake Powder in Dark Brown, keeping the tail darker and the inner parts lighter. I then cleaned up any mistakes and the edges with a Morphe M508 Brush and some Jouer Perfector in Naturel.

For my eyes today, I started by using a Morphe E17 Brush to blend some Kleancolor American Eyecon Wet/Dry Baked Shadow in Matte Pink, blending it out further than usual to give it a blown out look.

After damping a Morphe E32 Brush with Mehron Mixing Liquid, I used it to pay some LA Colors Shimmering Loose Eyeshadow in Radiant onto my eyelids.

I added a couple coats of Palladio Double Agent Faux Lash Effect Mascara, and decided it wasn’t quite enough. So I threw on some Red Cherry Eyelashes in 747L, attaching them with some Duo Brush On Adhesive with Vitamins.

To complete the look, I swept some NYX Professional Makeup Matte Lipstick in Sweet Pink on my lips and called it a day.

Face of the Day Friday

Hey guys! A little sparky and a little darkness for you today!

I started (duh! Of course!) by waking up my under eye area with The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG. I also was hoping my lashes would keep growing, and to keep that hope alive, I ran some Smack Beauty Bat Those Lashes Volumizing Lash Serum along my upper lash line.

I fought the dreaded oil slick look by patting on some NYX Professional Makeup Shine Killer. I also hydrated my lips with Murad Rapid Collagen Infusion for Lips, since I’d be adding a matte lipstick later, and they can both be drying and look like total crap on dry lips.

Because I’m me, I had some redness today. I applied some LA Girl Cosmetics Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Green Corrector only to those areas that were red, and blended it out with a dampened Beauty Blender. Then, to even out my skin tone, I used a Japonesque Multitasker Brush to apply some Mally Beauty Ultimate Performance Professional Foundation in Light.

To create (and fake) some definition in my face, I used a Younique Cream Shadow Brush to apply some Jouer Cosmetics Perfector in Chestnut around the edges of my face, under my jawline, under my cheekbones and down the sides of the bridge of my nose. I then used a dampened Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge to blend until my arm ached.

Taking some Palladio Under Eyes Disguise Full Coverage Concealer in Vanilla Latte, I cream highlighted the center of my forehead, down the bridge of my nose, and under my eyes. This time I used a Morphe G37 Brush to blend it out.

Using my finger, I added some color to my cheeks with Tata Harper Volumizing Lip and Cheek Tint in Very Charming. I also added a bit of glow (because you know I love it!) to my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose with NYX Professional Makeup Strobe of Genius Holographic Stick in Mermaid Armor.

To set those cream highlighted areas, I grabbed a Vera Mona Cake and Bake Makeup Sponge, and packed on some RCMA No-Color Powder. After waiting a few minutes, I used a Morphe M500 Brush to sweep away the excess.

On the areas I cream contoured, I used both a Morphe G18 Brush and a Morphe M530 Brush to deepen it even more with Palladio Matte Bronzer in Teeny Bikini.

To add a bit more cheek color, I grabbed a Real Techniques Multi Task Brush, and used it to swirl some Cargo Cosmetics Water Resistant Blush in Los Cabos onto my cheeks. I also decided I didn’t have quite enough glow (you know me,what can I say?), so I used my fingertips to add some Unicorn Snot Glitter Gel in Pink to my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose.

To fill in and shape my brows today, I used an LA Girl Cosmetics 207 Brush and some Inglot AMC Brow Liner Gel in 20. I then sealed that in by combing through some Model in a Bottle Long Lasting Eyebrow Sealer. Then, I cleaned up the edges with a Morphe M508 Brush and some Dermacol Make-Up Cover Foundation in 209.

And now for the eyes. I started them by using a Morphe E22 Brush to create a base in my crease that would be easy to blend on using NYX Professional Makeup Nude Matte Shadow in Leather and Lace. I then took a Real Techniques Brow Brush and ran some Kiko Cosmetics Infinity High Pigmented Eyeshadow in 212 along my lower lash line. I also added some into my crease, before taking that same Morphe E22 Brush from before and blending it out.

Using a Morphe E32 Brush, I patted some NYX Professional Makeup Glitter Glue onto my eyelids. Directly on top of that, I used a Morphe E14 Brush to pat some Inglot AMC Pure Pigment Eye Shadow in 86.

After adding a couple coats of Lancôme min Sieur Big Mascara, I decided to add a little flair with a pair of Kara Eyelashes in 523, using Duo Eyelash Adhesive to attach them.

To complete the look, I swept some Violet Voss Liquid Lipstick in Flirt on my lips and called it a day!

And that’s all, y’all! See you soon!

I started (duh, as usual!) by waking up my under eye area with The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG. I also applied some Smack Beauty Bat Those Lashes Volumizing Lash Serum to my upper lash line, hoping they’d grow.

To prep my face for makeup, I patted on some Glamazon Beauty Mystical Veil Face Primer. I also put in some Blossom Scented Lip Gloss in Mint.

To even out my complexion, I applied some NYX Professional Makeup Total Control Drop Foundation in Vanilla, blending the crap out of it with a dampened Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. I also hid my under eye circles by applying some LA Girl Cosmetics Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Light Yellow Corrector, this time using a dampened Mini Beauty Blender to blend.

For some definition in my face, I used a NYX Professional Makeup Wonder Stick Highlight and Contour Stick in Universal. To blend the contour color, I used an e.l.f. Cosmetics Contouring Brush, and to blend the highlight color, I used a Real Techniques Essential Foundation Brush.

For a healthy flush on my cheeks, I used my fingers to apply a small amount of Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Creme Colour Concentrate in Grandma. I also used my fingers to add some glow to my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose with Inika Light Reflect Highlighting Creme.

Using a Morphe E41 Brush, I set all that cream product with some Jouer Cosmetics Mineral Powder in Perle Naturel. I also went over the areas I earlier cream contoured with both a Morphe Y22 Brush and a Morphe E56 Brush, and a little of the darker shades from my Frankie Rose Cosmetics Pro Contour Palette.

For a little bit more color on my cheeks, I used a Sigma F15 Brush to lightly sweep on some Physicians Formula Multi-Colored Blush I’m Blushing Berry. I then used my fingers to add some glitter (because why not?) to my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose with Lavender Stardust Aloe Vera Glitter Gel in Heaven.

To fill in and shape my brows today, I used a Morphe M413 Brush and some Inglot AMC Brow Liner Gel in 17. I then used a Morphe M508 Brush to clean up the edges with Dermablend Professional Cover Creme in Natural Beige.

And now for the eyes!

I started by using a Morphe R39 Brush to sweep some NYX Professional Makeup Nude Matte Shadow in Birthday Suit into my crease.

Next, after dampening a Sigma E55 Brush with Mehron Mixing Liquid, I used it to pack some e.l.f. Cosmetics Mineral Eyeshadow in Sassy onto my eyelids. I then used that same blending brush from before to get rid of the harsh line.

I also used some Mehron Mixing Liquid to dampen a Japonesque Angled Brow Brush. I then used that to do a bit of an inner corner highlight with Glamour Doll Eyes Pigment in Violet Winds.

After a couple coats of Lancôme Mon Sieur Big Mascara, I decided I wanted lashes but nothing to crazy. Just a little bit of something. So I chose Red Cherry Eyelashes in Harley, attaching them using Duo Brush On Adhesive with Vitamins.

I completed the look with a pop of color on my lips, swiping on some LA Splash Cosmetics Lip Couture Waterproof Liquid Lipstick in Hidden Desires.

And that’s all y’all! See you soon!
