Face of the Day Friday

Hey guys! Just a very simple eye and a red lip look for you today!

I started (as usual!) by waking up my under eye area with The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG. I also ran some Smack Beauty Bat Those Lashes Volumizing Lash Serum along my upper lash line.

I fought the dreaded oil slick look by patting on some NYX Professional Makeup Shine Killer. I also hydrated my lips with Blossom Scented Lip Gloss in Mint.

For a little color correction, I used a Real Techniques Essential Foundation Brush to apply the different colors as needed from the Ben Nye Media Pro Corrector Wheel. I evened out my skin tone with Dr. Jart + Black Label Detox Beauty Balm, using a dampened Beauty Blender to blend it in.

To get a little definition, I decided to cream contour and highlight using NYX Professional Makeup Sculpt and Highlight Face Duo in Taupe/Ivory, blending it in with another dampened Beauty Blender. Because I wanted even more brightness, I also applied some Jouer Cosmetics Perfector in Creme, blending this time with a dampened Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge.

For some flush on my cheeks, I used my fingers to apply a little Tata Harper Volumizing Lip and Cheek Tint in Very Charming. I also added some glow to my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose with The Beauty Crop Lighting Crew Highlighting Cream.

To set all that cream product, I grabbed a Morphe G5 Brush and used it to sweep some Jouer Cosmetics Mineral Powder in Perle Naturel all over. On the areas I earlier cream contoured, I used both an e.l.f. Cosmetics Contouring Brush and a Morphe R41 Brush to deepen it with Sephora Matte Perfection Powder Foundation in Deep Mocha.

For more cheek color, I used a Sigma F15 Brush to add some Santee Cosmetics Sun Kissed Mineral Formula Blush in 05. Inalso added more glow (because I can’t get enough!) with a Sigma E40 Brush and some LA Girl Cosmetics Strobe Lite Strobing Powder in 110 Watt.

Using a Sigma E65 Brush, I filled in and shaped my brows with Inglot AMC Brow Liner Gel in 17. Using a Bare Minerals Max Coverage Concealer Brush, I cleaned up the edges with Jouer Cosmetics Perfector in Naturel.

Using a Morphe M505 Brush, I swept some Jouer Cosmetics Powder Eyeshadow in Praline into my crease. I then used a Sigma E55 Brush to pack some Glamour Doll Eyes Pigment in Bittersweet onto my eyelids.

After adding a couple coats of Palladio Double Agent Faux Lash Effect Mascara, I decided to add some understated drama with Ardell Wispies, attaching them with Duo Eyelash Adhesive.

After lining and filling in my lips with Beautique Lipliner in Real Red, I completed the look by swiping on some Dose of Colors Liquid Lipstick in Merlot.

And that’s all y’all! See you soon!

Thursday Thoughts: Beauty Trash

Hey guys! Just a small little post about my empties today.

Sebastian Professional Potion 9 Wearable Styling Treatment: this product is kinda cool. It’s has some reparative qualities, and some styling properties! I’m all about dual use!

Model in a Bottle Makeup Setting Spray: I should t have to say it again, but this is my favorite!

Verb Hydrating Shampoo: left my hair nice. Nothing spectacular.

Verb Hydrating Conditioner: again. Nice, nothing spectacular.

LA Splash Cosmetics Lip Couture Waterproof Liquid Lipstick in Till Midnight: beautiful color, but dried out on me.

Jouer Cosmetics Perfector in Creme: I really love this formula. I use it for cream highlighting.

Dr. Jart + Black Label Detox Beauty Balm: nice for when I have a decent skin day.

Jouer Cosmetics Powder Eyeshadow in Praline: the formula on tense is amazing. Super blendable and not at all chalky.

Jouer Cosmetics Powder Eyeshadow in Caramel: again. Ah-mazing!

NYX Professional Makeup Vivid Brights Colored Liquid Liner in Vivid Delight: love the color on this. Do wish it has been slightly more yellow toned orange versus red tones, but very pigmented.

And that’s all y’all! See you soon!

Mani Monday

Happy Mani Monday!

The base color on the pinky and ring fingers is Sinful Colors Professional Nail Color in Glazy Sunday.

Then, the thumb, pointer and middle finger was done in OPI Nail Lacquer in Can’t Read Without My Lipstick. This color was also used as the base of the line on the ring finger.

Over that line, and on the pinky finger as well, I used NYC Long Wearing Nail Enamel in Pink Bling.

It’s all topped off with a coat of Deco Miami Dual Base/Top Coat.

I theme evened out my skin tone with The Ordinary Colours Coverage Foundation in 1.2 YG, blending the crap out of that with a Japonesque Multitasker Brush.

For some definition, I decided to cream contour with LA Girl Cosmetics Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Toast, this time using a dampened Beauty Blender to blend it out. I also cream highlighted and concealed under my eyes with Santee Cosmetics Just Kolour Invisible Cover Concealer in 17, blending that until my arm hurt with a dampened Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge.

To set all that cream product, I used a Vera Mona Cake and Bake Makeup Sponge to apply some Ben Nye Pretty Pink Translucent Powder.

On the areas I cream contoured, I used both a Morphe E56 Brush and a Smashbox Retractable Lip Brush to deepen it with some Palladio Matte Bronzer in Teeny Bikini.

For even more cheek color, I grabbed an e.l.f. Cosmetics Professional Powder Brush, and swept on some Cargo Cosmetics Water Resistant Blush in Los Cabo’s. I also added even more glow (you know I can’t get enough!) using a Morphe M501 Brush and some Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder in Gold Digger.

Face of the Day Friday

Happy guys! Playing with this warm plum color and a pop of blue today.

I started (duh, as usual!) by waking up my under eye area with The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG. I also applied some Smack Beauty Bat Those Lashes Volumizing Lash Serum along my upper lash line.

Next, I prepared my face for makeup by patting on some NYX Professional Makeup Total Control Drop Primer. I then hydrated my lips with Lip Smart Powerful Hydration for Dry Lips.

Using a Morphe M439 Brush, I evened out my skin tone by buffing on some Frankie Rose Cosmetics Matte Perfection Foundation in Vintage.

To correct my under eye circles, I applied some LA Girl Cosmetics Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Yellow Corrector, blending it out with a dampened Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge.

Wanting some definition, I applied some LA Girl Cosmetics Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Warm Sand under my jaw, under my cheekbones, along the sides of the bridge of my nose, and on the outer edges of my face. I then blended that with a Morphe G37 Brush.

Next, to get some cream highlighting done, I applied some Palladio Under Eyes Disguise Full Coverage Concealer in Vanilla Latte in the center of my forehead, down the bridge of my nose, under my eyes and to my chin, this time using a Morphe E9 Brush to blend it in.

For a little color to my cheeks, I used the warmth of my fingers to melt some Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Creme Colour Concentrate in Grandma into them.

I also added a healthy glow to my cheeks and down the bridge of my nose with Inika Light Reflect Highlighting Creme.

To set all that cream product, I grabbed a Morphe E41 Brush to sweep some RCMA No-Color Powder all over.

Using both a Japonesque Kumadori Blending Brush and a Morphe Y22 Brush, I deepened the contour with the dark colors from my Frankie Rose Cosmetics Pro Contour Palette.

Using a Real Techniques Multi Task Brush, I added some more cheek color with Jouer Cosmetics Powder Blush in Rose.

I also added even more glow (because you know this girl can’t get enough!) with a Morphe M501 Brush and some Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder in Conceited.

To fill in and shape my brows today, I used a Morphe M413 Brush and By Nanda Long Lasting Coloring Eyebrow in 05. To seal them, I combed through some Model in a Bottle Long Lasting Eyebrow Sealer. I then cleaned up the edges with a Morphe M508 Brush and some Dermablend Professional Cover Creme in Natural Beige.

Using a Morphe M330 Brush, I swept some Revlon Color Stay 12 Hour Eye Shadow in Hazelnut in my crease.

Taking a Morphe E32 Brush, I patted some NYX Professional Makeup Glitter Primer onto my eyelids. Directly on top of that, I used a Morphe E14 Brush to pack on some Inika Mineral Eyeshadow in Autumn Plum.

For liner today, I wanted a little bit of a pop, so I added a wing with NYX Professional Makeup Studio Liquid Liner in Extreme Blue. I also ran some Frankie Rose Cosmetics Waterproof Infinity Eye Pencil in Rebel into my waterline. I then used a Real Techniques Brow Brush to smoke out the lower lash line with e.l.f. Skincare Sunday: DIY Rice Flour and Milk Mask — May 5, 2019

Skincare Sunday: DIY Rice Flour and Milk Mask

Hey guys! Today we will be doing a DIY rice flour and milk mask.

Start by combining rice flour and milk into a paste.

Apply to a clean, dry face.

Once completely dry, remove with warm water, using circular motions.

The rice flour contains vitamin B which slows down the aging process. It also contains some sun protecting ingredients, and helps promote skin elasticity and collagen production.

The milk has lactic acid, which can help with dark spots. It is also hydrating.

Overall, I really liked this mask, and will definitely be giving it another go!

And that’s all y’all! See you soon!
