Hey guys! Today I’ll be showing you how to cover a tattoo. You never know when you’ll need this; a photoshoot, a wedding, maybe just to hide from someone… Hope this helps!

Start by gathering your materials. Here’s what I used for today:

  • Mini Beauty Blender
  • Ben Nye Media Pro Corrector Wheel
  • Younique Cream Shadow Brush
  • Dermablend Professional Cover Creme
  • Morphe R39 Brush
  • Jouer Cosmetics Mineral Powder in Perle D’Ivoire
  • Model in a Bottle Makeup Setting Spray

Here’s my tattoo on my inner wrist.

Here I’ve used a Mini Beauty Blender to dab on a combination of the flesh and orange tones from my Ben Nye Corrector Wheel. If your tattoo is colored, you’ll need to use correctors opposite the color wheel from whatever color they are.

I then used a Younique Cream Shadow Brush to add some Dermablend Professional Cover Creme. Here you’ll need to choose a color closest to your skin color. This is Natural Beige. In real life, I’d need to use something lighter, as my wrist is obviously much lighter than my face.

Using a Morphe R39 Brush, I dusted on some Jouer Cosmetics Mineral Powder in Perle d’Ivoire.

Another coat of the corrector.

More of the Dermablend.

And set it again with powder.

At this point you may need more layers. Or you may have even gotten away with only one. I prefer to do multiple thin layers, as opposed to thick ones.

And then I just set it with Model in a Bottle Makeup Setting Spray.

And that’s all y’all! See you soon!
