Skincare Sunday: Masque Bar Animalz Panda Calming Sheer Mask

Hey guys! Today I’ll be using the Masque Bar Animalz Panda Calming Sheer Mask, and sharing my thoughts with you.

it contains honey and camellia extract, which encourages healing, protects against pollution and locks in moisture. The lavender flower water calms skin and is anti-inflammatory. Plus it’s super cute!

I chose this once today, because I did a peel last night and wanted to help my skin recover some.

After 20 minutes, I removed the mask and patted the excess serum into my skin. My skin felt smooth, hydrated and definitely calmer.

Overall, I’d recommend giving it a try!

And that’s all y’all! See you soon!

Face of the Day Friday

Hey guys! Since my orange liner look didn’t exactly turn out how I wanted, I decided to try it in red with the same product. And this one turned out slightly better.

I started (as usual) by waking up my under eye area with The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG. I also ran some Smack Beauty Bat Those Lashes Volumizing Lash Serum along my upper lash line.

Trying to fight Mother Nature, I patted on some NYX Professional Makeup Shine Killer. I also hydrated my lips with some Blossom Scented Lip Gloss in Mint.

Taking a Mini Beauty Blender, I did a little color correction with Ben Nye Media Pro Corrector Wheel. Be careful with this, it’s crazy pigmented, so the smallest amount is all you’ll need.

Next, I evened out my skin tone with some NYX Professional Makeup Stay Matte Not Flat Liquid Foundation in Golden Beige, blending it in with a dampened Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge.

To add some definition, I used an e.l.f. Cosmetics Contouring Brush and a Smashbox Retractable Lip Brush to cream contour with some Jouer Cosmetics Perfector in Chestnut. I blended the crap out of that with a dampened Beauty Blender.

Using a Morphe E9 Brush, I cream highlighted the usual areas with some Jouer Cosmetics Perfector in Ivory. I once again blended until my arm hurt with a dampened Beauty Blender.

To get a little flush in my cheeks, I used my fingers to apply some Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Creme Colour Concentrate in Grandma. I also used my fingers to add some glow to my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose with some Inika Light Reflect Highlighting Creme.

Going over the contoured areas with a Sigma E40 Brush and the darker colors from the Frankie Rose Cosmetics Pro Contour Palette, I got a little more depth.

I then took a Vera Mona Cake and Bake Makeup Sponge to pack some Ben Nye Luxury Powder in Buff. After a few minutes, I used a Morphe M500 Brush to sweep away the excess powder.

Using a Real Techniques Multi Task Brush to add a little more color with some Maybelline Pure Blush in Pure Raisin.

I also added more glow (of course!) with an e.l.f. Professional Powder Brush and some Physicians Formula Glowing Nude Bronzer in Nude Wear.

Today I used an Anastasia Duo Brush 7 and some Inglot AMC Brow Liner Gel in 20 to fill in and shape my brows. To clean up the edges a bit, I used a Bare Minerals Max Coverage Concealer Brush and some Dermablend Professional Cover Creme in Natural Beige.

After dampening a Japonesque Angled Brow Brush with some Mehron Mixing Liquid, I used that to apply a wing with some Ben Nye MagiCake Aqua Paint in Bright Red.

After applying a couple coats of Grande Mascara Lash Boosting Formula, I threw in some Red Cherry Lashes in 523, using some Duo Brush On Adhesive with Vitamins to attach them.

I completed the look with Absolute New York Modest Matte Liquid Lipstick in Silk Sheets, topped with some NYX Professional Makeup Butter Gloss in Vanilla Cream Pie.

And that’s all y’all! See you soon!

Thursday Thoughts: Symbols On Beauty Products — March 28, 2019

Thursday Thoughts: Symbols On Beauty Products

Hey guys! Today we are going to decipher what those symbols on beauty products are.

The Mobius Loop: this symbol means that the packaging is recyclable.

The e: this symbol is used on products manufactured in the EU. It basically means the amount of product it says it contains is accurate.

The open lidded jar: this one is super important. Whatever number it has inside is how many months the product will be good for after opening. So that mascara you’ve had rolling around in the bottom of your bag for 2 years… time to toss it.

The green dot: (sometimes not green) means the company will cover costs of recycling the packaging.

The leaping bunny: means the product is animal friendly, and cruelty free.

Hourglass: this is used on products with a shelf life of 30 months or less. It will call attention to a best by or expiration date.

Ecocert: means the product is at least 95% organic.

UVA: contains at least the minimum requirements for UVA protection.

Leaflet: means the will be a leaflet containing more information about the product.

Certified Vegan: means the product contains no animal by products.

Flames: means the product is flammable.

And that’s all y’all! See you soon!

Skincare Sunday: Hanacure — March 24, 2019

Skincare Sunday: Hanacure

Hey guys! So this week I decided to give Hanacure a try. It’s been all over social media for a while, and I guess I’m finally giving in.

I decided to try the single kit to start with. This single use costs $29, but you can also get a four pack for $110.

You start by basically mixing the two ingredients included together, and applying it with the brush provided.

Here’s my face before:

Immediately after applying:

After the thirty minute wait time:

Creepy, right? 😂

And after removing:

The lines around my mouth seemed slightly lessened, but the lines between my brows were noticeably better.

Overall, I’d probably try it again for special occasions, but not for constant use, only because it is pricey.

And that’s all, y’all! See you soon!

Face of the Day Friday — March 22, 2019

Face of the Day Friday

Hey guys! Today’s look was a slight disappointment. Not that there’s technically anything wrong with it. But you know when you have a picture in your head, and it just doesn’t work that way in real life? I hate that. I really wanted the orange liner to be more vibrant. But I’ll eventually give it another go with some other product at some point.

Anyway, I started (as usual) by waking up my under eye area with The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG. I also ran some Smack Beauty Bat Those Lashes Volumizing Lash Serum along my upper lash line.

To prep my face for makeup, I sprayed on some Skindinavia Makeup Primer Spray. I also hydrated my lips with some Murad Rapid Collagen Infusion for Lips.

I had a few areas of redness today, so I applied some LA Girl Cosmetics Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Green Corrector, blending it in with a Real Techniques Essential Foundation Brush. I then evened out my complexion with some Dr. Jart + Black Label Detox Beauty Balm, blending that in easily with a Japonesque Multitasker Brush.

For a little definition today, I used a NYX Professional Makeup Wonder Stick Highlight and Contour Stick in Medium/Tan. That I blended with a dampened Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge.

For a little healthy flush to my cheeks, I used the warmth of my fingers to blend in a little Tata Harper Volumizing Lip and Cheek Tint in Very Charming. I also added a little glow with some Manna Kadar Sheer Glo Shimmer Lotion.

To set all that cream product, I grabbed a Morphe E41 Brush and dusted some Jouer Cosmetics Mineral Powder in Perle Naturel all over.

On the areas I earlier contoured, I used both a Morphe Y22 Brush and a Morphe E56 Brush to add some Palladio Matte Bronzer in Teeny Bikini.

I also added a little more glow (because I can’t get enough) with a Morphe M501 Brush and some Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder in Gold Digger, and even topped it off with some Lavender Stardust Aloe Vera Glitter Gel for Hair and Body in Heaven.

To fill in and shape my brows today, I used my By Nanda Long Lasting Coloring Eyebrow in 05. I then used a Younique Cream Shadow Brush to clean up the edges some with Jouer Cosmetics Perfector in Naturel.

Now for the eyes. I used a Morphe E38 Brush that I dampened with some Mehron Mixing Liquid to create a wing with some Ben Nye MagiCake Aqua Paint in Bright Orange.

I then used a Sigma E75 Brush to run some Kleancolor Smokin’ Cream Cream Eyeshadow in Thunder along my lower lash line.

After adding a coat of L’Oréal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara, I threw on some Ardell Wispies, using Duo Eyelash Adhesive to attach them.

After lining and filing in my lips with NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella, I applied some Velvet 59 Matte to the Max Liquid Lipstick in Gigi.

And that’s all y’all! See you soon!

Thursday Thoughts: Full Face $1 Makeup — March 21, 2019

Thursday Thoughts: Full Face $1 Makeup

Hey guys! So today, I wanted to show you that you can create a look easily on a budget. Every product I used costs $1. I did fudge a bit and use brushes I already had, but you can also find brushes for very cheap, even at under a dollar a piece of you buy lower priced sets.I did, however, try to use the same kinds and amounts of products I’d normally use for you.

To prep my face today, I smoothed on some AOA Studio Wonder Skin Illuminating Primer. I also hydrated my lips with Starry Rosehip Lip Balm with Honey Essences.

Using a Morphe M439 Brush, I evened out my skin tone by buffing on some Santee Cosmetics Magic Skin Beautifier CC Cream in 07. Now. This isn’t really my color. Buying online can be tricky, but I’m just going to make it work. Now for the under eyes circles. I could get more sleep (Hahahah yeah right!), but today I chose to correct them with AOA Studio Wonder Cover HD Concealer in Light Yellow. To blend it out, I used a Mini Beauty Blender.

To get a little definition in my face, I used AOA Studio Wonder Cover HD Concealer in Buff (I’m loving the formula of these, and this shade was perfect!) to cream contour, blending it out with an e.l.f. Cosmetics Contouring Brush. I also concealed and cream highlighted with Amuse Cosmetics Spot Cover Up Concealer Crayon in Highlighter (get ready for a crazy strong wax smell!), blending the crap out of that with a Morphe G37 Brush.

To start off some flush on my cheeks, I used my fingers to apply some Santee Cosmetics Super Magic BB Blush Stick in 4. I also added some glow to my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose with Amuse Cosmetics Liquid Illuminate Pro Champagne, again using my fingers to apply.

To set all that cream product, I grabbed a Morphe G5 Brush, and used it to sweep some AOA Studio Perfect Matte Translucent Setting Powder all over. I also used both a Morphe Y22 Brush and a Morphe E56 Brush to go over the areas I earlier cream contoured with Santee Cosmetics Pro Bronze Bronzer in 1 to give them a little more depth.

For a little more cheek color, I used an e.l.f. Cosmetics Professional Powder Brush to add some Amuse Cosmetics Blush in Peach Harmony to them. And (as if you’ll be at all surprised) I wanted more glow. So I used a Morphe M310 Brush to add some AOA Studio Velour Highlighter in Private Show.

To fill in and shape my brows today, I used an LA Girl Cosmetics 207 Brush and Malibu Glitz Dramatic Brows Eyebrow Gel in 3. I cannot begin to tell you how much I loved this stuff. I can not believe it was only $1!

And now for the eyes! Today I used Amuse Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette Number 2. I started by using a Morphe M330 Brush to get down a transition color, so it would be easier to blend on top of, using third color down on the left. I then used a Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush to add the third color down on the right into the creases of my eyes. Using a Morphe E14 Brush, I patted the top left color on to my eyelids. I used another Morphe E14 Brush to smudge to second color down on the right onto my lower lash line.

For liner today, I created a wing with LA Colors Cosmetics Smudge Proof Liquid Eyeliner in Black.

After a couple coats of LA Colors Cosmetics Volume Lash Mascara (please don’t waste your money, trust me), I added some AOA Studio Lashes in Natalia, using The Creme Shop Stuck On You Long Lasting Clear Eyelash Glue. Man. This glue. I don’t know that I’ve ever used anything like it. I think the lashes barely stayed on long enough to get these pictures.

To complete the look, I swept on some AOA Studio Wonder Matte Liquid Lipstick in Vibin’ and called it a day.

And that’s all, y’all! See you soon!

Skincare Sunday: Garbanzo Bean Flour and Milk — March 17, 2019

Skincare Sunday: Garbanzo Bean Flour and Milk

Hey guys! Another DIY face mask for you today!

This one is simple. You just mix together a cup of garbanzo bean flour and a half of a cup of milk.

Then, just apply it to your face.

Let it completely dry.

And remove using circular motions with warm water.

The garbanzo bean flour helps draw out impurities. It also works as a scrub as you remove it.

The milk can help with pigmentation and also hydrates.

It’s that simple! See y’all soon!

Face of the Day Friday

Hey guys! Playing with purple and glitter today!

I started (as usual) by waking up my under eye area with The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG. I also ran some Smack Beauty Bat Those Lashes Volumizing Lash Serum along my upper lash line.

To prep my face for makeup, I patted on some Glamazon Beauty Mystical Veil Face Primer. I also hydrated my lips with some Lip Smart Powerful Hydration for Dry Lips.

To even out my complexion, I used a Sigma 3DHD Kabuki Brush to buff on some Frankie Rose Cosmetics Matte Perfection Foundation in Bare.

To contour my nose a little today, I used a NYX Professional Makeup Micro-Contour Duo Pencil in Light, using the heat of my fingers to melt it into my skin.

For definition in the rest of my face, I used a NYX Professional Makeup Sculpt and Highlight Face Duo in Taupe/Ivory. I blended the darker color with a Morphe R9 Brush and the lighter color with a Japonesque Fluff Concealer Brush.

For a little bit of cheek color, I dabbed on some Club Clio Peripera Ah! Much Real My Cushion Blusher in Pleased Pink. I also added a little glow to my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose with some Temptu Silicone Based Highlighter in Champagne Shimmer.

To set all that cream product, I grabbed a Morphe E52 Brush and swept some Ben Nye Pretty Pink Translucent Powder all over.

Over the areas I contoured earlier I used both a Japonesque Kumadori Blending Brush and a Morphe R41 Brush to add some Sephora Matte Perfection Powder Foundation in Deep Mocha.

For more cheek color, I used a Sigma F40 Brush to sweep on some Frankie Rose Cosmetics Blush in Peachy Pink.

And for even more glow (because I can’t get enough), I used a Morphe M501 Brush to add some Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder in Conceited to my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose.

To fill in and shape my brows today, I used a Morphe E38 Brush and some NYX Professional Makeup Eyebrow Cake Powder in Dark Brown. To clean up the edges a bit, I used a Morphe M508 Brush and some Dermacol Make-Up Cover Foundation in 209.

I started with a Morphe M505 Brush. I used that to apply Estée Lauder Pure Color Eyeshadow in Amazing Grey Shimmer into my crease.

Next I used a Morphe E32 Brush to pack some Estée Lauder Pure Color Eyeshadow in Amethyst Spark Shimmer onto my eyelids.

To open up my eyes a bit, I ran some Jordana Eyeliner in White into my waterline.

Now for the best part….. glitter!!!

I took a Sigma E65 Brush and dampened it with some Mehron Mixing Liquid. I then used that to apply some Ben Nye Sparklers in Fuchsia to my lower lash line.

After tossing on a couple coats of Velvet 59 My Fair Lashes Mascara, I added some Red Cherry Eyelashes in 747L, using some Duo Brush On Adhesive with Vitamins.

For lips today, I started with some NYX Professional Makeup Liquid Suede Metallic Matte Cream Lipstick in Buzzkill, and topped it off with a little Too Faced Lipstick in Unicorn Tears.

And that’s all y’all! See you soon!
