Moroccan Oil Complete Your Color Kit: Moroccan Oil’s color locking kit. Of course I needed this with my crazy colored hair.

Klorane Soothing & Anti-Irritating Gel Conditioner with Peony: sometimes my scalp gets mad at me for all the coloring and bleaching. This is supposed to help.

Verb Gentle Cleanse + Light Volume Dey Shampoo: well. Dry shampoo and volume? Had me right there.

Verb Gentle Cleanse + Style Extender + Light Volume for Dark Hair: for when I’m rocking a shadow root (or when I’m just slacking on my bleaching).

Verb Gentle Cleanse + Style Extender + Light Volume Dry Shampoo: for when I have had time to bleach.

Thayers Witch Hazel Aloe Vera Formula Alcohol-Free Cucumber Toner: because I’m out and I really couldn’t handle that Burt’s Bees one any more!

NO:HJ Texture Aloe Mud Mask: because its pretty!

The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG: replacing mine.

Floss Gloss Pro Nail Lacquer in Night Palm: a deep dark green? Beautiful!

Ricky Care Soft Touch Toenail Clippers: I need a new pair and these are pink!

Masque Bar Oxygen Bubble Bamboo Charcoal Sheet Mask: I love, love, love bubble masks! Couldn’t pass this one up.

Murad Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum: brightening? Yes please! No more dark spot? I’ll take it!

Acure Brilliantly Brightening Day Cream: as I’ve said before, who doesn’t want a little more brightening?

Acure Seriously Soothing Blue Tansy Night Oil: I’m such a fan of facial oils. Couldn’t not try this one, right?

Acure Brilliantly Brightening Facial Scrub: can you tell my skin goal this month is brightening?

The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA: have to moisturize along with that brightening.

Japonesque Makeup Setting Spray: this is interesting. It aerosol so I’m very interested in how it will work.

Farsali Unicorn Essence Skin Enhancing Antioxidant Serum: guess I finally jumped on the train.

Korres Pomegranate Lip Butter: you can never own too many lip products.

Glamazon Mystical Veil Face Primer: Primer. You always need primer. Figured I’d give this one a shot.

Model in a Bottle Sensitive Skin Formula Makeup Setting Spray: you guys know I love Model in a Bottle. Decided to try the sensitive skin formula.

Ricky Care Bobbies: because I lose a million of these a month, had to grab more.

Ricky Care No-Snag Hair Ties: same for these.

The Grandpa Soap Company Buttermilk Shampoo: I wish you could smell this. I really do.

The Grandpa Soap Company Buttermilk Conditioner: because you need the matching shampoo!

I’ll see you soon! What did you guys grab this month?

Skincare Sunday: Brown Lab Blackheads All Clear Kit — May 27, 2018

Skincare Sunday: Brown Lab Blackheads All Clear Kit

So on this skincare Sunday we are going to be talking about Brown Lab Blackheads All Clear Kit.

So first you have the Blackheads-softening Duvet Nose Pack. Basically, it’s like a sheet mask for your nose that softens stubborn blackheads.

And just look how cute you’ll look wearing it!

Then you’ll have the Pore-clearing Cacao Peel-off Strip. This is your more traditional nose stop. The ones you’re probably more used to.

And still looking cute!

Then there’s these things. Basically you use the side with the hole to remove blackheads.

And the side with the cotton swab to clear in off.

Then you take this little mitt and wet it and scrub away.

Lastly, you have this Pore-soothing Biocellulose Mask.

Overall, this was decent. I still have other things I prefer, it this is definitely better than just plain old nose strips.

See you soon!

Hey! Today I’ll be sharing swatches from the Velvet 59 The Exotic Lotus Palette.

I know. I want to cry to. Not even created anything fun with it and Boom! That’s the life of being clumsy as hell through.

Shades top to bottom: Cherry Blossom, Tiger Lily, Sake Plum, Princess of China

Shades from top to bottom: Meiling, Kyoto Kimono, The Silk Road, Smoked Tea

Not only is this palette filled with super pigmented, buttery soft shades, it’s also vegan, cruelty free, paraben free and gluten free! The shadow pans are also very easily removed if you like to make your own palettes.

This palette retails for $39. I think it’s a great investment!

Face of the Day Friday — May 18, 2018

Face of the Day Friday

Hey guys! I created this look for you, and I’ve got to say I really like how the blue looks against my brown eyes. I also love that it doesn’t clash too much with my ridiculous hair!

The Prep

As usual, I woke my eyes up with The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG. I also hydrated my lips with some Pure Paw Paw Ointment in Grape.

To keep my lashes going, I did my usual Grande Lash-MD Lash Enhancing Serum, followed by coating my lashes with some Jamaican Black Castor Oil and Vitamin E Oil.

The Face

I used some Tony Moly Egg Pore Yolk Primer, and decided to skip foundation today, since my skin wasn’t looking too bad.

I did decide to cream contour, using LA Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Toast, and blending it out with a dampened Beauty Blender.

To conceal under my eyes, I dabbed on some Palladio Under Eyes Disguise Full Coverage Concealer in Lemonade and Vanilla Latte. I grabbed my dampened Beauty Blender and blended like forever.

To sculpt my face a bit more, I used my NYX Professional Makeup Sculpt & Highlight Face Duo in Taupe/Ivory. Then, (again, I know!) I used my Beauty Blender.

To contour my nose, I went a different route. I used NYX Professional Makeup Micro-Contour Duo Pencil in Light. This I just used my finger to blend.

To set everything, I used a Japonesque Go To Brush to swirl on some RCMA No Color Powder.

To go back over the contour, I used a Japonesque Kumadori Blending Brush and a Morphe G18 Brush to sweep on some Palladio Matte Bronzer in No Tan Lines.

To fake a blush, I grabbed my Sigma F15 Brush to add some Frankie Rose Blush in Peach Pink to my cheeks. I blended that out with a Real Techniques Multi Task Brush.

For a nice glow, I used a Morphe M501 Brush to add some Too Faced Mystical Highlighter in Unicorn Tears to my cheek bones and the bridge of my nose.

The Eyes

To fill in and shape my brows, I used an Anastasia Duo Brush 7 and some Inglot AMC Brow Liner Gels in 16 and 20. To clean up the edges, I used a tiny tiny amount or Dermablend Professional Cover Creme in Natural Beige and a Morphe M508 Brush. To set that hard work, I ran some Model in a Bottle Long Lasting Eyebrow Sealer across them and brush through that with a Morphe M115 Brush.

Now for the fun part. I created a transition shade using a Morphe M505 Brush and some NYX Professional Makeup Nude Matte Shadow in Leather and Lace. I then deepened up the crease a tad with a Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush and some NYX Professional Makeup Nude Matte Shadow in Get Naked.

To create a bright base for the next part, I used a Younique Cream Shadow Brush to apply some NYX Professional Makeup Cream Shadow Base in White. I blended out the very edges of that with a Morphe R39 Brush.

Very carefully, I used a Morphe E14 Brush to pack some NYX Professional Makeup Pigment in Egotastic onto that area, but only in the inner and outer corners. I also ran a tiny amount along my lower lash line. I once again blended the edges with a Morphe E41 Brush.

For the brightness in the center, I used a Morphe E19 Brush to cautiously add some NYX Professional Makeup Pigment in Vegas Baby.

The Final Touches

I sealed all that hard work in with some Model in a Bottle Makeup Setting Spray.

For my lip color, I used NYX Professional Makeup Lip Lingerie in French Maid.

I competed the look with a couple coats of Grande Mascara Lash Boosting Formula.

And that’s all for today! I’ll see you all soon!

Thursday Thoughts: NYX Perfect Filter Shadow Palette in Gloomy Days — May 17, 2018

Thursday Thoughts: NYX Perfect Filter Shadow Palette in Gloomy Days

Hey guys! I’m bringing you swatches from the NYX Professional Makeup Perfect Filter Shadow Palette in Gloomy Days.

So as you can see, the palette is mostly neutrals, with that beautiful pop of blue in there.

So across the top row, you have a nice dark grey, the pretty blue shade, an off white color, a black, and a metallic shade.

On the second row you have a shimmery darker grey, a pretty iridescent cream color, another dark grey, a cream, and a medium brown shade.

This is a decent palette. The pigmentation is good. My only complaint is that why would we need so many deeper grey colors in one palette?

Anyway, see you soon!

Face of the Day Friday — May 11, 2018

Face of the Day Friday

Hey guys! This is the look I created for you this week. Here’s how I got it:

The Prep

I woke up my eyes with The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG. Then, because my lashes have been growing like weeds and I want it to stay that way, I ran some Grande Lash-MD Lash Enhancing Serum along my lash line. I also used a disposable spoolie to coat my lashes with Jamaican Black Castor Oil and Vitamin E Oil. I also got some hydration on to my lips using Pure Paw Paw Ointment in Grape.

The Face

I primed my face using NYX Professional Makeup Total Control Drop Primer. I also used some NYX Professional Makeup Total Control Drop Foundation in Natural to help even out my skin tone. I blended that to death with a dampened Beauty Blender.

To fight the dreaded under eye circles, I applied a combination of Palladio Under Eyes Disguise Full Coverage Concealer in Lemonade and Vanilla Latte. I once again blended that with a dampened Beauty Blender.

To cream highlight and contour my face, I used my NYX Professional Makeup Sculpt and Highlight Face Duo in Taupe/Ivory. For my nose, I used a NYX Professional Makeup Micro Contour Pencil in Light. Then guess what! I used my dampened Beauty Blender again!

Next, I grabbed a Japonesque Fluff Concealer Brush and dabbed some OCC Creme Colour Concentrate in Grandma onto my cheeks. I the used my fingers to dab that in and blend it, since I feel like the warmth of my fingers helps this particular product work best. For some glow, I applied some Sephora Radiant Luminizing Drops in Starlight to my cheek bones and the bridge of my nose. I blended this out also with my fingers. To set everything, I swept some RCMA Colorless Powder on with a Japonesque Go To Brush. To get a little definition to my face, I used a Japonesque Kumadori Blending Brush and a Morphe G18 Brush to lightly contour with Frankie Rose Cosmetics Pro Contour Palette. I blended that until my arms hurt with a Morphe e52 Brush. Today I decided to bake. I’ve been experimenting back and forth some and I think I actually prefer not baking, but this was a day where I decided to go with it. I applied some Ben Nye Luxury Powder in Buff. After a few moments, I used a Morphe e41 Brush to dust away the excess. For some cheek color, I used a Sigma f15 Brush to sweep some Frankie Rose Cosmetics Blush in Peachy Pink along my cheeks. I blended again with a Real Techniques Multi Task Brush.

The Eyes

Now for the good stuff. I filled in and shaped my brows with an Anastasia Duo Brush 7 and some Inglot AMC Brow Liner Gels in 16 and 20. To clean up the edges some, I used a Morphe m508 Brush and a tiny bit of Dermablend Cover Creme in Natural Beige. I swept on some Model in a Bottle Long Lasting Eyebrow Sealer and combed through my brows with a Morphe m115 Brush.

As a transition shade, I applied some NYX Professional Makeup Hot Singles Eyeshadow in Sex Kitten with a Morphe e22 Brush.

To give my crease a tiny bit of definition, I grabbed a Morphe r41 and applied some Kiko Cosmetics High Pigmented Eyeshadow in Infinity.

To give my lids a nice sticky base, I used my fingertip to pay some NYX Professional Makeup Glitter Primer onto them. Then I used a Morphe e32 Brush to pay on some NYX Professional Makeup Pigment in Metallic Velvet.

The Final Touches

As usual, I said a prayer and doused my face in Model in a Bottle Makeup Setting Spray.

For even more glow (because a girl can rarely have too much!), I used a Morphe m501 Brush to add some Ben Nye Lumiere Lux Powder in Golden Apricot to my cheekbones and along the bridge of my nose.

I threw on some Velvet 59 My Fair Lashes Mascara (which don’t buy. I hate it!).

For my lips, I couldn’t decide, so I ended up using two. I first put on some NYX Professional Makeup Suede Matte Lipliner in Soft Spoken and added a little NYX Cosmic Metals Lip Cream in Crystallized Metal just to the center of my lips.

And that’s all! I’ll see you guys soon!

Thursday Thoughts: Beauty Trash — May 10, 2018

Thursday Thoughts: Beauty Trash

Hey guys! Today I’m sharing all my beauty trash with you. Well… everything that I remembered to not throw away!

Huroo Huroo 4D Shape Memory Deep Hydrating Mask: I won’t be grabbing more. Too many other options out there to try.

COSRX Acne Pimple Master Patch: yes. Definitely. In fact, I’ve already replaced these. Great for hormonal breakouts.

Glamglow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment: no. This is okay, but the price tag is definitely for the name. I’ve used other skin care that’s better, and sometimes even cheaper.

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5: yes. If I could only find it! So many places are out of stock.

Swisspers Cotton Rounds: duh. I use these every day and have already bought more.

Jean Pierre Pink Grapefruit Makeup Remover Wipes: I replaced these, but I think with another scent.

June Jacobs Papaya Purifying Enzyme Mask: I liked this. It was creamier than I expected, and not too harsh. I’m thinking about replacing it, but unsure, because I do tend to try to rotate new products into my routine, since there’s so many things to try.

Sugar Bear Hair Vitamins: not bad. But I’ve since gone back to my tried and true Hairfinity ones.

Klorane Nutri-Reparative Conditioner with Desert Date: no. I wanted this to be better, but I didn’t see any improvement while using it. I also really couldn’t stand the smell.

Model in a Bottle Makeup Setting Spray: you’re going to be shocked. I know, this is my go to. Has been for a long time. But I actually branched out and am trying something new right now. That, of course, will determine if I grab more or not.

Pilatin Suction Black Mask: Best. Black. Mask. On. The. Market. Definitely ordering more. Just wish it was slightly more accessible.

Cabot Vitamin E 100% Pure Vitamin E Skin Oil: yes. This is partly how I create my lash serum, and it’s been working wonders! I don’t even feel the need to wear falsies as much.

L’OrĂ©al Elvive Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm: this didn’t do a whole lot. Well… my hair felt slightly more hydrated. But not at all repaired.

Kinky Curly Come Clean Natural Moisturizing Shampoo: I live for this! Definitely grabbing more!

Sunbum Shampoo: I like this enough. Nothing at all wrong with it. But it didn’t wow me. And for me, that’s what I’m looking for in a shampoo.

Sunbum Conditioner: kind of the same thing here. I won’t be in a hurry to grab more.

Ardell Wispies: I haven’t been wearing falsies much, since my lashes have been growing like crazy. If I do, I throw on a pair of wispies just for a little oomph. I’d already replaced this pair with two more by the time I’d thrown this pack out.

Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Precious Cream: This is nice. I’ve since started suing something else, but may go back to this later.

Tony Moly Egg Pore Tightening Cooling Pack: I wanted to love this. But honestly, it completely dried out on me before I could even finish the whole thing. So I don’t think I’ll be in a hurry to try it again.

Grande Lash-MD Lash Enhancing Serum: this is amazing! I’m not really sure how I lived without it. I’ve been using a few different techniques to grow my lashes, and it’s working, so on the chance it’s this, I already replaced it!

Masque Bar Pretty Animalz Tiger Moisturizing Sheet Mask: I love these, and so does my Aidan, so I’m sure more are in my future.

Jean Pierre Forever Young Skin Elasticity Pomegranate Sheet Mask: ehhhh. Nope. I use a lot of sheet masks and switch around a lot, but this one didn’t impress me much.

Jean Pierre Forever Young Calming Coconut Sheet Mask: same. Only I felt this one was a little dry. If that makes sense.

Huroo Huroo 4D Shape Memory Anti Trouble Detoxifying Mask: I don’t know why. I know a ton of people like that these are meant to fit on your face. But something about the shape I don’t like.

Masque Bar Silver Foil Sheet Mask: this was so cute on! I will be grabbing more!

Masque Bar Rose Gold Peel-Off Mask: I wanted to love this. I wanted to take really cute selfies in it. But it wasn’t that awesome in real life.

Masque Bar Gold Peel-Off Mask: same. Exactly the same.

Jean Pierre Aloe Makeup Remover Wipes: again. Loved these. Just a different scent.

Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle 24k Gold Intense Wrinkle Sheet Mask: at the price, I don’t think I’ll be running to grab more. Not impressive enough.

Wella Color Tango Permanent Masque Hair Color in 4NB: this is my go to to create a shadow root. (And also to hide any pesky grey hairs, but shhhhh! Don’t tell). I will definitely be grabbing more.

Wella Color Tango 30 Volume Developer: well, this is what I mix with my hair color, so this is an obvious one.

NYX HD Finishing Powder in Mint Green: I’ve sort of replaced this already. I actually got the same thing, but in the translucent shade, since day to day I don’t experience a ton of redness.

Masque Bar Pretty Animalz Otter Nourishing Sheet Mask: duh. Of course I’m getting more super cute animal sheet masks for Aidan and I to use!

Jean Pierre Forever Young Fresh Green Tea Sheet Mask: ehhh. Not for me. I don’t know why these didn’t impress me, but it seems the whole line just kind of fell flat for me.

Number 4 Lumiere d’Hiver Fluoros Elixir Restore and Repair Oil: I really like how smooth this makes my hair without weighing it down or making it feel greasy. I would definitely be interested in getting more.

Hairfinity Candilocks Chewable Hair Vitamins: you should already know. Of course I’ve already replaced these! They are the best!

And that’s it guys! I’ll see you soon!
